Gordian is a dedicated, creative, and experienced public health specialist with more than 8 years of management, coordination, and community experience in health sector. Trained in Tanzania at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS). With expertise in health sector planning and budgeting, epidemiological surveillance of epidemic diseases and tropical diseases, management and leadership in health sector, capacity building to junior staff, training designing and coordination, community sensitization and mobilization towards uptake of health interventions, working with USAID funded projects such as PMI vectorlink, MDH and ICAP, activity technical report preparation and submission to higher level.

In addition to that, he can coordinate, implement, and evaluate different health campaigns such as Mass Drug Administration (MDA), Vaccination and Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) campaigns.

Key Competencies:

Use of statistical packages in data analysis such as Epi Info, SPSS, and Stata.
Designing and conducting of quantitative and qualitative research.
Use of ODK and CommCare applications in collection of primary data.
Able to use DHIS2 database.
Planning and execution of mass recruitment process of seasonal staff at the community level.
Planning, budgeting, implementation, and supervision of robust Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) campaign.
