Experienced Database Manager with 7+ years of experience in development and implementation of effective monitoring, evaluation, accountability, learning, information, and reporting systems, capacity building and coaching, database management, data analytics, and data quality audit. Highly skilled in DHIS2, Oracle, programming language, Microsoft office suite, R, and mobile data collection tools development including ODK, Kobotoolbox and CommCare. Well versed in managing data collection, verification, entry, cleaning, reporting, interpretation, presentation, and dissemination. Proven leader and team builder dedicated to lowering operational cost while maintaining organizational excellence and with excellent communication skills for relaying information for improvement and process changes.

Ditrick is the Database Manager of the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) VectorLink Project in Tanzania, which supports the implementation of Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) and distribution of Insecticide Treated Nets (ITNs) through School Net Programs (SNP) and health facilities in mainland Tanzania including Nyarugusu, Mtendeli and Nduta refugee camps and in Zanzibar to limit the exposure to Malaria and reduce incidence and prevalence of Malaria in Tanzania and saving life of children under five and pregnant women who are more vulnerable. Early 2023,In collaboration with Zanzibar Malaria Elimination Program (ZAMEP) – surveillance, monitoring and evaluation team, Ditrick conducted logistics and data management system assessment, identified gaps and assisted to develop electronic based systems for Indoor residue Spraying (IRS) reactive rapid response in Zanzibar.

Before joining USAID/PMI VectorLink project, Ditrick worked in humanitarian context with Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) and Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Mtendeli and Nyarugusu Refugee camps in Kigoma Tanzania to safeguard the rights and well-being of refugees through provision of safe drinking-Water, Sanitation, and hygiene services, shelter, and community-based protection.
