Oral Health Outreach at Kamanga Health Center Sengerema District

THEDI and Cedar Foundation conducted an oral outreach mission at Kamanga health center in Sengerema district in July 2023. Public awareness was raised through community health workers, community leaders, and religion leaders. The mission involved screening and treating individuals with oral health conditions as well as assessing oral health knowledge, attitude, and practice. The mission helped the organization to understand the extent of oral health issues, the availability and accessibility of quality healthcare services, and the level of basic oral health knowledge and practice among communities.
